Support
FestiScout is a calendar of the world's festivals — find one, plan a multi-stop trip around it, and share the route.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Browsing festivals, planning trips, check-ins, reviews, and reminders all work without one. An account is only needed to publish a route to the community or like other travellers' routes. Your trips and check-ins live on your phone either way.
I didn't receive my sign-in code email
Check your spam folder first — the email comes from festiscout.com. Codes can take a minute to arrive, and requesting a new code cancels the previous one, so enter the newest email's code. If you request codes too quickly in a row, the server asks you to wait a few seconds before sending another.
How do check-ins work?
Open a festival and tap check-in while you're there. The app compares your location to the festival city — within 50 km counts as attended. Your location is used only at that moment and the check-in is saved on your phone, not on our servers.
How do I share a trip?
Open your trip and tap Share trip. You can publish it to the in-app community, send it through any app on your phone (WhatsApp, Instagram, iMessage…), or copy a link. Friends with FestiScout installed can tap the link to import your route directly; without the app, the link shows a page explaining what it is.
How do I unpublish a route or delete a review?
Your published routes show an unpublish button on the Community tab. Reviews you've written are under Profile → Reviews, where each one can be deleted.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, email, published routes, and likes from our servers, immediately. Data stored on your phone (trips, check-ins, reviews) is removed by deleting the app.
A festival's dates look wrong
Many festivals move every year — some follow lunar calendars, others are announced only months in advance, and a few are marked "Seasonal" until dates are confirmed. If you spot one we got wrong, email us at hello@festiscout.com; corrections usually ship in the next update.
Something else is broken
Email hello@festiscout.com with what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead — plus a screenshot if you can. We read everything.
Privacy
What data the app keeps (mostly: on your phone) and what an account stores is covered in the privacy policy.
